I do have information on James the father of Robert, but probably not more than you have from the looks of your message. If you want, I will send you what I have. Also, just a couple of days ago, I accessed a Roots Web family page that said a David Barclay Bays and Elenor Unknown were James' parents. This was the first I'd heard of this and do not know how to check it out as the email address of the submitter bounced back. My grandfather was Frank Bays, Norman's twin.
