He was born September 21, 1927, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Charles and Carrie (Bennett) Hilleman. On December 19, 1948, Wayne was united in marriage to Edith Reed; to thisunion two children were born, Dennis and Donna. Wayne served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by a brother Charles Hilleman. Wayne is survived by: His wife, Edith Hilleman of the home; Children, Dennis and wife Evelyn Hilleman of Belleview, and Donna and husband Darrell Bergner of Belleview. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Megan, Daniel, Cory, and CariAnn, a sister, Loretta Doyle of Caledonia, and Orene Hilleman of St. Louis as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at Bryson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
