BEATIE went to Carrollton Monday night where he received a special degree in Masonery. -- George [sic] CLEARY left last week to rejoin his company now in the south. He belongs to Co. A, of the 4th Missouri. -- Tom GOODSON went down to Carrollton Monday night to meet with the Masons who conferred some special degree. -- Thos. [sic] GIBSON, of Mexico, Missouri, was in Norborne a few hours Tuesday on his way to Missouri City for a car of poultry. -- Miss Elsie HAWES, who has been in Missouri for 3 years, left for her home in Hollar, Virginia last week. She expects to be there all winter. -- Mrs. Annie MANARD and little boy, of Marceline, have been visiting her mother and sisters several days. She will go from here to Newton, Kansas. -- J.P. BEERY - has a hat store in Norborne. -- R.C. KINNAIRD has gone into the grocery business in Carrollton and will make that his home. -- S.M. MAXEY and wife returned from Iowa this week. Their home will be here now. The Judge is looking fine and says he feels better than he has in 5 years. -- J.M. BUNDY left for Colorado last Friday.
