Maybe one of you reading this can help me. My great grandfather (Ellis E.Dillon), was a collier (Coal Miner), and he just dissapears off the face of the earth about 1890. Does anyone know if there may have been a coal mining accident in Iron Co. around this time or perhaps a site that has coal minning dissasters in Missouri? I have researched everthing I know possible for 3yrs and am getting very frustrated. There are no death records or anything on this man that I can find.
