She was born about 1916 and died in 1998. I adored her so much....she was one of my favorite people. I spent much of my childhood summers in Des Arc, Mo. with her family. She had a daughter a year older than I. We were very close and still are. I am in contact with all four of Aunt Wilma's children but none of them are on line so I have been trying to build a family tree for them and myself. Ira Charlton is Wilma's father and her mother was Mandy (Dobbs)(AKA: Granny Charlton). Since I recently found that Lucian B. Charlton is Ira's father I am now wondering who would be the mother of Ira? The above Wilma had a sister named Gladys (Charlton) that was in little older. She married Irvin/Ervin Moss. Irvin was killed in WW2. Gladys never remarried. I also spent much time with her and had so much fun with her going shopping in Piedmont. Gladys had 3 children, Barbara (the youngest) and 2 others I don't recall their names at the moment. Aunt Gladys always lived in Des Arc for as long as I can remember. She died not too long ago as did their other sister Aunt Opal (Charlton) Ruble. The family would be thrilled if there were a photo of Ira's parents that could be shared since none of us have any and have never seen a photo of them?
