I am seeking any information on the following individual....Henry C. Dennis. Henry C. Dennis seems to have been b. abt. Jan, 1864....the census mentions Tn. but most mention Mo. He married: Iron County - Marriage Records Volume 4 1889-1899 by Virginia Brown / 135-2 Henry C. Dennis of Iron Co., Mo. and Nancy J. Strickland of Iron Co., Mo. ; married on 26 October 1891 by J. T. Ake, J. P. He appears to have died in 1936 per the Missouri Death Index Records. Name Date of Death County City Certificate Number Henry C. Dennis August 24, 1936 Washington 33464 >From what I can find he had the following children: 1. Mary J. Dennis b. abt. 12/1894 who may have married Thomas Boatwright on 3/22/1920 in Bismarck, Mo. Washington Co. 2. Robert William Dennis b. abt. 1/1896 who was not married in the 1930 census. 3. Noah Dennis (2/2/1897-1/3/1916) who died of a gun shot wound to the leg. He was not married. All the children were probably born in or near Caledonia, Mo. Washington Co. I am trying to find out where Henry and Nancy are buried. Also, I am trying to see if Henry C. Dennis's parents were Richard Dennis (no dates) who was born in Virginia and who married Minerva Jane Merritt (b. abt. 1/1846 - d. ????) on April 24, 1862 in Washington Co., Mo. Minerva Jane Merritt was a daughter of Silas (1814) Merritt and Lorinda / Lurinda / Lucinda Monday who he married abt. 1839 in Lawrenceburg, Tn. Lawrence Co. I am trying to prove that Henry C. Dennis, had two brothers - James Henry Dennis (b. abt. 1862 - d. abt. 1935 supposedly in Dunklin Co., Mo.) and Robert E. Lee Dennis (11/9/1866-11/14/1917) who might have been born in Iron Mtn., Mo. St. Francois Co. and he died in Bismarck, Mo. St. Francois Co. Robert E. Lee Dennis was married to Nancy Strickland (abt. 1880) on 9/11/1902 in Bismarck, Mo. St. Francois Co.
