She was born November 4, 1930 in Middlebrook, MO the daughter of the late Frank and Beulah (Martin) Jones. On November 1, 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert West who survives. To this union three children were born; Connie Smith of Columbia, MO, Keith(Georgia) West of Fulton, MO, Kevin (Gerri) West of Columbia, MO. Also surviving are three sisters; Anna Belle Balew of Ironton, MO, Glenda Brown of Kansas City, MO, and Marie Green of Norway, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was a member of the Ironton Assembly of God where she had served as church pianist. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mel Rowland officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Ironton Assembly of God Building Fund.
