Unless your great Grandmother was very young..she was not born in Iron county... Iron formed in 1857...was she born after 1857? Before 1857 for Iron, you need to check several other counties. My Great Grandfather in the 1850 census as Jack Philips Washington, Lawrence, OH abt 1849 Ohio. They moved to Iron co MO between 1850 and 1860 Zachariah T Phillips Arcadia, Iron, MO 9 1850 Ohio Male the last census I have him is in the 1870 living with his parents.
