    1. [MOIRON] note to Edith Fisher
    2. Jeanette
    3. Hello Edith: I do hope you see this - I lost your e mail addy. In the book (which our society published) is this: Register of Births and Stillbirths 1883-1887 - Harriet H Thomas, Midwife. Delivered Mary Thomas, the 2nd born child, of EL(z)adia Smith Thomas and Reuben Thomas at Bellevue on 1 February 1887. This large family had also W G Thomas, who was a med dr in Bellevue and Moses Thomas who was a physician and then Harriet who was also a Dr., cum midwife. Very interesting family. On 1850 Washington Co Mo census is a Reuben G age 3 son of Moses Thomas and Susan L, he was born in Mo his parents were born in Va and his father was the physician. There is also a Reuben on this census who is age 41 born in Va and married to Rebecca. And there are probably some more Reubens, we just have to find them..... Happy Hunting - Jeanette.

Hello - Would the people who contacted me about information for the old stone house that the Thomas family built in what was Washington Co., Mo. and is now in Iron Co., Mo. in 1820 - please contact me, I went and found the old stone house today. It is on land right next to the Thomas cemetery and is all grown around by trees and cannot be seen at all from the road but it is still standing as straight as an arrow. I don't believe anyone lives in it. 1. [MOIRON] Samuel TROLLINGER'S Children: A Couple Questions
    2. Byron D. Nelson
    3. Page 400 of the Past and Present: A History Of Iron County, Missouri ..." says "...the fifth child of Samuel Trolinger, Jane Trolinger who married Frank Sumpter." Since I do not seem to have this page and this is as quoted to me, perhaps some of the answers or on this or adjacent pages. ("Jane" is a third great grandmother in my direct line.) Samuel TROLLINGER had two spouses. Adline TROTT and Eliza GALLAHER. I have no reason to believe that Lucinda Jane was not the fifth child. I believe she was probably the first child of Eliza GALLAHER. Most of the accounts I have seen suggest Adline died in Tennessee. (Sam TROLLINGER was born in Bedford County, Tennessee). The best evidence is that Harriet Edna was born in Arkansas. Then it would seem likely that Adline died in Arkansas as it is improbable that she would have returned to Tennessee to die. It is possible that she died in childbirth and this of the fourth child that did not survive. Can anyone name or explain the missing child? Does anyone know the spouse of Sarah Adline? Children and spouses are below. Adline TROTT: Sarah Adline (unknown), Harriet Edna (John C. STRICKLIN), Andrew Jackson (Sarah J. MYERS), ? Eliza GALLAHER: Lucinda Jane (William Franklin SUMPTER), Mary Emily (Yancy SHIPP), Rebecca (William M. VOLNER), John Henry (Mary Matilda ANDERSON), Catherine (John Henry TURNER)
