June, If you have Ancestry.com go there and do a advanced search on Benjamin Hasty. Quite a bit there. Look under Family Trees. They may have been in Reynolds Co. because there are Hasty there in 1850. It only list one daughter for them. Anna Elizabeth Hasty who was born Dec. 1842 in TN. & died in MO. (failed to copy the date.) She married Abel Strickland born Nov. 1838 & died 1907 in Mo. Burial for both is Stricklin Cem., Imboden Cr., Mo. A stone at the Imboden Cem. for Abel & wife Anna had these names on the stone. Jane, Tollet, Joe, Nancy, & Sallie. This Cem. is 15 miles from Graniteville on hwy. 0 between Belleview & Johnson. Came to MO. by way of Potosi in the mid 1800's. The group camped at a place that was later called Caledonia, this was the eve of Christmas. They traveled in covered wagons along with families of Thomas & Edmonds from the state of TN. These families settled in the area of Belleview & Imboden. Hope this is of some help. Hi all. I have added more maps to the EarlyVA map site. I still have to find time to upload a few more... they will be there soon. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mcampbel/EarlyVA/index.htm Margie Campbell in Lodi, CA USA If anyone has an Ellis Campbell/ Camel born in VA in 1804, would love to know. Also, does anyone show a marriage record for James Campbell & Elizabeth Mehlander/Meklander circa late 1700's? I have been told they are the parents of this Ellis Campbell. This based on the surname of Elizabeth. Subject: Blankenship, Busenbark, Fleming, Harris, Maxson,Ruhl, Russell I am looking for information on the children of James Monroe Harris & Sarah Ritter Blankenship (widow of Albert Blankenship). Some of these may be in St. Francois Co., Mo. and I have a posting there also. Etta Blankenship (9/1883 - ??) m. Henry Ruhl (b. 1884 -?? ) Edna Ruhl (1906) m. Fred Russell Joyce Ruhl (1910) m. ?? Fleming Irene Ruhl (1913) m. ?? Pauline Ruhl (1917) m. ?? Busenbark Henry A. Harris (1886 - 1968) m. Flora E. ?? they supposedly didn't have any children and he was the Marshall at Elvins from 1951 until ???? (I have been told) Minnie E. Harris (6/1890) m. James C. Maxson Howard Maxson (1903) They were alive in the 1990s according to my late father - somewhere around Bismarck (?) John W. Harris (1892 - 1979) m. Anna B. ?? Calvin B. Harris (1927) Grace Imogene Harris (1928 ?) Wilma S. Harris (1929) Alfred P. Harris (1930 ?) I was told that Anna (?) left John and went to California and only one boy was living with John. It is confusing whether John ever remarried. I also was told that John was the sheriff in Annapolis or Iron Co. (?). James Turner Harris [email protected]

Is there a volunteer that could look up an obit for me at the Arcadia Valley Library on the microfilm. I just found a date of death I didn't have when I was there two weeks ago, and I probably won't make it back until next Spring (as I live in Cape).
Dear listers, If anyone does lookups on Obits. I'm interested in the obit for Stella M. (Roehrs) Siebert from Pilot Knob. Passed Jan. 10, 1999. Nice lady. Met her there in 1996 while researching the Siebert family. I'll pay the going rate. I'm up here in the top left hand portion of the country. Don't get down there much. Thanks, Allen L.
