    3. Just FYI, the Mary Ann Catharine Williams (married Joseph Snavely), the Sudy (should be Judy) Williams (married Ephraim Snavely, and the Margaret A. Williams (married John Craig) are all daughters of Joseph L. Williams (1789 - 1862) and Susan Woodson (1799 - 1863). Joseph L.Williams comes from a Williams line out of Cumberland County, VA, and as far as I can tell is not connected to the other Williams line being discussed. This information comes from the book The Williams Family of Cumberland County, Virginia and Their Westward Migration by Linda Stufflebean, June 2001.
