Carolyn, I believe Emily Cline did come back to Cooper CO. Yes, that estate file that you and Ann found was the one that should me the ties to the Thurston, McClanahan families etc. I will go through my Cooper CO., records and get back to you. Howard Chism's brother Micheal WAS in Cooper Co., down the road from the place where I found my ancestors in Bunceton. My Cooper Co. records show Emily Cline married Howard Chism on May 16, 1850 -- his brother Michael married Didamy Smith on Feb. 4, 1830. Yeah.. I noticed the two Williams marriages to CHISMs too.
