I found (I thought) a new son for Peter Hale Avery, but alas, they just used lots of different names. Seen that before, right? Found him in the 1920 and 1930 census so I got more names and some ages. This is what I found: 1920 Randolph Co MO, Moniteu Tsp, on Mountain Road, page 48B taken 15 Jan 1920, Household 122/Family 124; all born MO and parents all born MO Avery, Hale, head, m, 44, MD, farmer - Operator - own account; owned mortgaged farm Pearl, wife, 37 (could that maybe should be 39?) Annie R, daughter, 19 Willie R, daughter, 17 Chester L, son, 15, school Irene, daughter, 10, school Lorine, daughter, 10, school Martin N (that's how I read it), son, 7, school Elmer C, son, 4 years 8 months Kenneth L, son, 2 years 4 months Then in 1930 in Audrain Co, 3rd ward Mexico City, 610 S Olive, taken 11 Apr 1930, page 215A Household 183/Family 283 Everybody and their parents born MO Avery, Hale, head, 54, md 22, a laborer on steam railroad, rents house, owns radio Pearl, wife, 49, md 17 Lorene, daughter, 19, treeing for a shoe factory Eugene M, 18, school Clifford E, son, 15, school Kenneth L, son, 12, school Eugene MUST be Martin, and I am guessing that Clifford is Clifford Elmer, or maybe Elmer Clifford. If you know, could you let me know? And where was Irene in 1930? Married already? Carolyn
