Peter Hale Avery was one of the children of James Johnson Averett/Avery and Cynthia Jane Winn, born in Howard Co, MO. The information that I do have on Peter includes the following: Peter Hale Avery B: Feb 9, 1874 M: July or August 5, 1897 Wife: Pearl Newman B: August 31, 1879 Children: Myrtle Annie Willie Chester Irene Lorene - non-identical twin of Irene. Born June 22, 1906 (does not match with census information, so I do not know how accurate this birth date is), died Sept 1985 Eugene Kenneth Clifford I do not have middle names or initials or birth dates for the children. I've got another mystery about this family group that I can't solve. Does anyone know what this little girl's name was? From "The Higbee News" dated 7 July 1911--Born, on the 4th, to Hale Avery and wife, a daughter. None of the children in the census records for 1920 fit this girl. Did this child die? There was no mention of the death in the Higbee News, or if there was, I missed it.
