Hi, I am looking for information that will prove or disprove that the Chester Avery in the census below is the son of Peter Hale and Pearl (Newman) Avery. I have Chester L. Avery, born about 1905 in Missouri, in the 1910 and 1920 Missouri census with his family, but am not sure about the 1930. 1930 Wilson Twp., Audrian Co., Missouri, ED 4-2, SD 7, Sheet 4B, Dwell 104, Fam 104 Avery, Chester, head, 24, age at marriage 20, born Missouri, father born Missouri, mother born Missouri, railroad section foreman " Aline, wife, 17, age at marriage 15, born MO, father born MO, mother born MO Chester's age has been altered and is hard to read. If his wife's age and age at first marriage is correct then Chester should be 22 instead of 24. I would appreciate any help I can get with Chester and the other members of his family.
