I have found on the census (and in marriage records) Richard D Ware. Richard D Ware md Annie E Williams 10 Dec 1865 by William K Woods MG. Richard D Ware md Martha Holtzsclaw 6 Jun 1880. I find in the Bonnefemme twp Prairie Twp (East Part) Household 24/Family 29 taken 14 Jun 1880 page 284D Ware, Richard D, 47, m, head, farmer, MO KY KY married within the year Martha, 34, f, wife, keeping house, MO KY KY, married within the year Shelby Tho, 8, m, son, MO MO MO Charles, 6, son, MO MO MO This would seem to be the above Richard and Martha. In 1870 Prairie Twp 23 Jun page 388 Household 18/Family 18 are these: Ware, Dudley, 37, m, Farmer, $200/$75, MO illiterate Ann E, 24, f, Keeping House, MO Jno W, 4, m, MO Susan E, 1, f, MO John, 64, m, KY I am guessing that John 64 is the father of Dudley. I am also guessing that these are the same people, and he is named Richard Dudley Ware. But I don't understand about the children. When did Annie E Williams Ware die? About 1879? In childbirth maybe? Was Martha married before? Or what happened to Shelby and Charles? Can anyone confirm/deny my guesses?
