Carolyn I can not help you with Richard D. and Dudley Ware, as I have both in my data base, and both married to a Martha. Richard D. to Martha (Unknown) and Dudley to Martha Ellen Holtzclaw, but maybe I can help you fill in some information on Shelby. I have Shelby Thomas Ware, born 20 May 1872 and died after 1 November 1908, married Rosa Mobley on 30 August 1893, in Howard Co., Missouri. I have Rosa (Mobley) Ware born 8 January 1872 and died 1 November 1908. A portion of his information came from The Higbee News, dated 13 November 1909. I have Rosa Mobley as the daughter of William David and Ermina (Reynolds) Mobley. The only thing I have on Charles came from the 1880 census that you mentioned in your query. IF Richard D. and Dudley are the same person, and Annie E. (Williams) Ware died between 1874 (when Charles was born) and 1880 (when he married Martha Ellen Holtzclaw in 1880), it appears to me that he and Martha kept the two youngest children (Shelby Thomas and Charles). What happened to the three older children? Does anyone have any information on them? Not many answers, just more questions. Cecil V.
