Hello; In 1880 I find Herman KUCK in KS with all children born in MO. Since the family settled in HOLT in 1871, I hope they can be found there in 1876. Gerd_Heinrich KUCK, his brother, is listed in Holt in 1880 with the name mispelled as KOOCK. The most common mispelling is COOK. I missed former postings on this subject. What is the 1876 Special Census for Holt Co., MO, and where can I access it? The James RUSOW family lived in Holt Co. in 1876 but have moved away by 1880. I would like to know if they appeared on an 1876 Special Census. -- Helen Graves
