Isaac Hancock and wife, Mary Ann (Morton from TN) are listed in the 1860 federal tax rolls from Lewis, Holt County, or Lewis County, Holt Twp, Missouri census. At this census, Isaac is 39, Mary Ann is 38 and the children are as follows: Nancy L. 15 Kizzeah, 14 John 10 Sarah E. 8 William Hurd or Ward (couldn't read census writing), age 6 Isabelle Hurd, 2. In the 1870 federal census, this family is living in Jackson, Jasper County, Missouri (again, listed as just Jackson Jasper Missouri, so could be Jackson County instead of Jasper)Federal Census. At this point, only their son, John, is listed with them in the household and he is 20. However, Isaac and Mary Ann had a daughtger Sarah E., age 17 born in TN listed; William H., age 16, born in TN listed and James above, age 8 in the 1870 census and born in Missouri. I would sure like to research this family further and especially Kezziah (spelled so many different ways). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nina
