Cheri, thank you so much for your email. I will try to find an email address or phone number for the Missouri State Archives so I can send for the 1876 state census. That would at least tell me if Mary Ann is still alive. Mary Ann is the daughter of David and Nancy Catherine James Morton from Anderson County, TN and although I knew she married Isaac Hancock, I spent my time on the TN lines instead of working my way around Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, etc. Again, many many thanks for your reply.
