Hi, If you have time would you look to see if there is a John E Noland, Alex, Benjamin, and Jesse Noland. I think they were living with a William Noland. Trying to find out the connection between these folks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marty Smith

1876 Census for Holt County MO shows Noland, Jesse (45 or more) with Rebecca (age 18-21), James, John, Benjamin (all 10-18) and Alet (male under 10. Could this have been Alex misread?) Gone Home, a Directory of the Deceased of Holt County MO shows: Noland, John E died 17 Jan 1880 age 24y 3m and his wife Martha or Mary E (tombstone hard to read is noted) died 4 Apr 1884 age 26y 8m 10d Noland Cemetery Noland, Jesse died 13 Jul 1908 age 77 at home of his sister Mrs Nathaniel Boyles. Thank You, I bet it is Alex. But the John E. cannot be my Grandfather, nor is he Martha's husband, because my father was not born until 1884, and this John E Noland died in 1880. Could I bother you with one more question. Does it denote the relationship to Jesse?
