Dear Site: Sometime between 1860 and 1864, Samantha "Nancy" Jane (Blades) Winton died in Holt Co Mo. She was the spouse of Samuel F. Winton. They had children, Enoch Frank Winton, Mary Elnora Winton, and George Winton (who would die here about same time). They had came from Indiana 1858, and Samuel and the two surviving children returned to Indiana. Samantha was born 1833 Ind; Enoch Frank 1853 Ind; Mary Elnora 1855 Ind; and George R. 1859 Holt Co Mo. (Samuel F. was born 1828 Tn) Here in Nodaway Twp, also lived Samantha "Nancy" Jane (Blades) Winton' sister, Mary Ann (Blades) Peters, and their mother (widow) Dianna (Hunt) Blades: the latter dying here "sometime" after the 1880 census (age 75 in census).
