Robert V. Hudgins, born about 1855 in Kentucky. In 1880 he was a school teacher in Holt Co., Missouri. Robert married Ruth and had three known children: Clay HUDGINS, Bryan HUDGINS (born abt. 1897) and Mary HUDGINS. Mary married a CORDREY and lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Donna, Thanks very much for sharing all that information. It helps solve the current HUDGINS family mystery. The brothers Clay and Bryan HUDGINS of Holt Co. visited with the James W. HUDGINS family in Mooresville Twp., Livingston Co., Missouri. Both families had Kentucky roots, and I hope to find a common ancestor somewhere in Kentucky. One of the family in Mooresville was given the middle name Clay, possibly an ancestral surname. Thanks again!
