Samuel RIDGE RIDGE family who arrived in the mid-1850's, particularly the father, Samuel RIDGE (b.1800ish) and his descendants. (Mound City News-Feb. 21, 1896) bsna (burial site not available. Rebecca "Becky" Proctor- Sept. 12,1837-May 29, 1915- wife of James C. Wilson who d. Feb. 14, 1896; mother of 8 ch., two of whom died in infancy. Buried Mt. Hope Mound City Cemetery.
