Hi, One of the first things I learned about on-line Genealogy is never request a look-up on surname alone. So, I am not requesting a look-up on the actual notices. Except maybe Henry Oberlin/Owen Reese who was thrown off a train and died in 1906? But could you send me info from the index itself? First names of THIEMAN; KUCK; and REESE/REECE? Or maybe just a match-up with: KUCK Betsey Donald Ernest Esther Gerd/t Hazel Henry Herman John Lola Mabel Mildred Ray Richard Roy REECE Ada Elias Valdo Vernon Reese Alfred Alice Amanda Andrew Caleb Catherine Edith Henry (Several) Hobart Jacob James John Leslie Mary Maud Meda Minnie Robert Verna Vernon William Thieman Frederich Fritz George Henry Lewis/Louis/Ludwig Mary Robert Sarah _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Do you have obits for Albert Henry Smith and his wife Nancy Ellen Bright Smith who are buried in the cemetery in Oregon, Holt, MO. Albert Henry died 29 Jul 1942 in St. Joseph and Nancy died 05 Mar 1941 in Oregon. Both had lived in Brown's (?) Nursing Home in Oregon for a year or so before their deaths. They were the parents of G. Frank Smith, my grandfather. Hi, Someone posted about Jake Jennings and wife, a few days ago... I didn't get it printed out and I crashed... Would you please re-post the info ??? Thanks, Dixie Lea in K.C...
Sorry I do not find anything on the children. Again, I would suggest you check the Gone Home books. There are two of them. Also the counties to the East. I know from experience folks seemed to move to a county, stay awhile, and then move one or two further West. Wish I could have been of some help. ----- Original Message ----- From: <fwong52@att.net> To: <MOHOLT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, May 08, 2003 9:57 AM Subject: [MOHOLT] Holt Co.--Death notices from area newspapers > Would it be possible to check for death notices for the following two children > of Elijah and Sarah Cobb McWilliams who lived in Forbes Co.: > Daniel b. abt. 1863 IN who d. 1870-1876 > Lena (or Lenna or Zenna) b. abt. 1857 IN who was alive in the 1876 state census > but does not appear in the 1880 census and no marriage record has been found. > This family had five children and by 1900 only one was still living. I got them from the Northwest Genealogical Society, St Joseph, Missouri. Order blank is available from their web site. There is not Pebley, but there is a Maggie Morgan, and a W. T. Morgan, son of Henry Morgan. Does this mean anything to you?
