Your message nudged me to repeat the following query: Desperately searching for William H. BROWN born abt 1803 in KY (per census, but doubtful that early), marr Sarah Ann DAVIS abt 1853 MO (probably Henry or Callaway Co); died April 1864 Callaway Co MO. Children: Martha Elizabeth and William S. Family legend says he died as a result of wounds or disease in CW (Confederacy). Per probate records he owned land in Henry Co MO and had close relatives Henry and Clifford. Only heirs were wife Sarah Ann and the two children. Would gratefully appreciate any help or clues.
