To the list. I heartily agree that most of the records at Ancestry charge 'WAY TOO MUCH" . Once about two years ago when they offered the "free for so many days" offer, I took advantage of it. At that time you did not have to give a credit card number, you just was able to check the records for so many days. I WILL NOT give a credit card number over the internet.. so I do not have access to Ancestry records...... The few times I did have access to their "for a fee" records, I did not find anything useful and feel it is way overpriced.
