    1. [MOHENRY] Looking for Tutts in Calloway Co.
    2. Traci Wilson-Kleekamp
    3. Hello.... I am looking for enslaved ancestors in the TUTT family in Callaway... specifically information on William Tutt -- who has a will dated September 7, 1821. Looks like his relatives in town included George G. Tutt and John H. Tutt; the family appears to have moved on into Henry Co., Morgan and Cooper in the 1830s, 40s and 50s. I began looking for my ancestors on a farm in Bunceton Missouri called Ravenswood -- which was owned my Nathaniel Leonard... Nathaniel married Margaret Hutchinson Johnston -- and Margaret's brother James Hutchinson married Martha V. Tutt -- and relative of these Callaway County TUTTS. More data collected from the Duke University Archives on James Tutt: "Slaves of Mary Ellen Tutt Smith (wife of John F. Smith) of Warrenton, VA; sent her slaves to Callaway Co, MO where they were hired out by her brother in law Samuel J. Turner and her brother James A. Tutt. Also Henry Tutt brother of James A. Tutt also owned and rented out slaves; in Fulton, MO. In short -- I am looking for information on the TUTT, TURNER families in Callaway...and the slaves in the family!
