    1. [MOHenry] Last Missouri WWI Veterans
    2. Michael G. McManness
    3. According to the Veterans Administration, 2,212 U.S. World War I veterans were alive on September 30, 2001. By 2008, only 110 are expected to be still living. It is estimated that the last U.S. veteran of the "Great War" will have passed away by 2018, one hundred years from the time the war ended. It is unknown how many still survive in Missouri. If anyone has a photo that they would like to contribute to the below website, honoring the last few remaining World War I veterans of ANY Missouri county, please contact me at: verdun1918@earthlink.net They do not have to be presently living, just be among the last survivors.
