I have a Henry County Scrapbook by Kay Miles Volume 1, which states an article about the Annual GAR Dinner at the First M. E. Church, Clinton, MO which states that Lon Huston of Windsor attended the dinner and he served in the 137th Illinois Infantry, Company E of the G A R. (Grand Army of the Republic). Perhaps you can obtain information about him from his military records. Alonzo Huston is buried in Windsor Laurel Oak Cemetery. Lot 0154 Gr A His wife Kate is buried in lot 0154 Gr.
