He died 11 Jun 1864 around Calhoun. Family tradition says he was killed by bushwackers the night before the raid on Calhoun. His probate papers give no clue as to his burial place only that a fee was paid for the funeral. Are there still funeral homes in existence that might have those records? Thanks.
