Hello Can anyone give me any information about Hortense Mo. and in particular the Hortense Cemetery and if it existed. Specifically: My GGGrandfather James B. Finley(Findley) Ross reportedly died in 1865 and was buried at Hortense. On a trip to Mo last year I found James wife Susanna Ross in the Combs Cemetery buried with her son David A. Ross. The Combs cemetery lists them as husband and wife but they are mother and son. I am really needing information about Hortense and if there is an existing cemetery that is not listed. I suspect it may have been in the area that was covered by Truman Lake as was Tebo but do not know. Any information about Ross family and/or Hortense would be greatly apreciated.
