I need the parents of Margaret Cylard, (Sibert?), who was the wife of William Collins of Henry CO. They were married in Howard CO., abt. 1823, and moved to Henry CO. by 1850. Also, if any descendant of the Francis W. and Lucy CUNNINGHAM family has joined the list, I would love confirmation that Lucy's parents were Cecelia Arnett and Moses Shields of Spartanburg CO., SC. Francis and Lucy arrived in Henry CO., from Williamson CO., TN, by 1850.

I am going to have to make a trip to MO. and will be there for a few weeks, possibly longer. I will be within 5 miles of where James Lee and Leila's son lives. His wife used to work in the grocery store, and if she doesn't work there, my sister will know (??I hope) how to contact them. My neice also has in-laws that live down the road from Jim and Perry unless Jim has moved. I can try to contact them if you want me to. Maybe I can find out if they have an e-mail address, or I might be able to get James and Lelia'a address from my Mom when she gets out of the hospital. Let me know if you are interested. I should be able to check my e-mail while I am there so you can contact me through the board or at my e-mail address. My son and I plan to leave this weekend. I hope this will help you with your search. Sincerely, Sandra Thornburg

Inman as also part of household at age 17. Fannie was listed as age 42 and I believe Inman to be her married name from a previous marriage. Fannie would have been born about 1808 based on the 1850 Jefferson Co Census. Their son Thomas Andrew Ramsey born about 1839. Thomas Andrew appeared in the Deepwater, Henry Co., MO Census of 1860 with my Ramsey family and the 1850 Census in Jefferson Co., TN. Thomas Andrew must have married and stayed in MO area as did John Lafayette Ramsey. Anna Ramsey the only known daughter of this marriage is missing also. Fannie husband John Vardiman Ramsey remarried in 1853 in TN. Between 1850 Fannie disapeared form my records. I have found a Ramsey cemetery in Hamblen Co., TN. Parts Hamblen Co used to be part of Jefferson Co., TN. I'm still looking into this as apossible site for my Ramsey family. Between 1853 and 1860 John Vardeman Ramsey and family moved and setteled in the Honey Creek, Deepwater, Henry CO., MO in SW MO. It is unknow when they moved back to TN but appeared in the 1880 Cocke Co., TN Census.

I went to school with their son Jim and he still lives in Henry County. If I remember correctly, Lelia had a sister(possibly a twin) named Joyce. They lived across the street from each other in Urich, MO. I think Joyce's husband was Ray Evans. They had 3 or 4 girls. I remember one name, as she graduated with my husband from Sherwood High School. Her name was Donna Evans and I think she had a sister named Theresa. I am not sure, but I think James Lee lives near Kansas City. My mother used to ride to work with him and they have always kept in contact. Hope this helps. Sorry I don't have addresses, just remember where the son lives(or used to live). We have not lived there for over 18 years, and just get to visit when time allows. Good luck with the search. Maybe you can find someone who knows a little more than I do.
