Hi Pam. As of right now, I dont' have any Meeks in my tree. The one I mentioned below (George Meek Stephens) is my Great Great Grandfather. His father was William Stephens b. March 15, 1813 d. Sept. 25, 1893. I don't have any information on his (Williams) parents, but since the family often used a last name of a mother/grandmother as a middle name for their children, then maybe William's mother was a Meek. Do you have any Meeks married to a Stephen(s) in your tree?
