Found death notice for Lee Toombs. Lee Toombs, 71 dies at hospital two sons and daughter survive- burial held saturday at Mt. Zion Lee Toombs, 71 years old, resident of Gilman City for the last few years but before that a resident of the New Hampton community, died Wednesday at a local hospital where he had undergone an operation. Mr. Toombs is survived by two sons and a daughter, who are Jake Toombs, Dryden,Wa, Marvin Toombs & Mrs. Blanch Tolliver, both of Denver Colo. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Effie McDaniels, St. Joseph, & four brothers, who are Charles Toombs of Bethany, Edgar Toombs, of Washington, Albert Toombs of Calif. & Thomas Toombs of Ks. Funeral services were Saturday at the Gilman City Baptist church, and burial was at Mt. Zion, between Bethany & New Hampton.
