He lived near Allendale, MO at the time of his death and is buried at Kirk cemetery. Their children were: Mary Etta (1877-1939) m. Wm. McKim; Charles Alfred (1880-1953) m. Daisy Roach; William Johnson (1882-1943)m Mary Ginn; Berth M (1884-1911) m. Warrick Gregg; Adeline Francis (1884-1973-my grandmother), m. James A. Sweeney, Jr; Betsy Jane (1887-1935) m.
