I am looking for the family of Enoch Holland. He was married to (2) Maria and had the following children on the 1850 Harrison Co. Census: Rufus; Catherine; Stephen H; William H; Samuel; Adaline; Sarah; Emily. I would like to find marriage info and the descendents of the above children. I have that Rufus md Ann Copeland, Catherine md. Richard Cain, Stephen md Maria Fuqua (?), William md. Matilda Jane Courtney, Samuel md. Mary Carder, and Emily md. John Creason. I do not have any info on Adaline or Sarah. Also, Rufus had three children: William Penn; Mary Jane, and Sherman. I would like to find more info on Sherman. I was told that Sherman died in Cainsville, MO in 1926. Does anyone have any of the info? I would be willing to exchange info with others. I am a descendent of William Penn Holland. Buried in Zoar Cemetery, Madison Twsp., Harrison County, just South of Cainsville, Missouri: Holland, Sherman, 1865-1926 Holland, Susan C., wife, 1861- Holland, William, 1885-1964 Holland, Jessie (Graves), wife, 1884-1958 Holland, Fannie J., wife of Sherman H., d May 12, 1900, 34y 27d (Source: Harrison County Missouri Cemetery Records, Harrison County Genealogical Society, Bethany, Missouri, 1985) Marriage Records, Book A, show Stephen married Mariah Fuqua, not Maria. (Looks like you are correct on your other marriages listed. I have all of the dates if you need them. There are other records for Holland marriages but none on your list. I don't know, or find, any other Hollands in Harrison County. I would bet they are the same family if you could tie them together. Let me know if you want the information.) I don't see anything for Adaline or Sarah. The only thing I find on Enoch is that he is listed as a Settler of Harrison County Prior to 1850. Cainsville is in the very Northeast corner of Harrison County, You might want to check for Sherman's marriage records in Mercer County, Missouri, and Decatur County, Iowa.
