Thanks for the heads up. William is living with his sister and their family in the 1880 census in Harrison County. They must have moved between 1870 and 1876. They are in Montgomery County, Illinois in the 1870 census. The 1880 puts them in Harrison County and the youngest, Samuel listed as 4, was shown as born in Iowa and the next oldest child was born in Illinois. This is turning into an interesting research. In later years, their cousins are living north of them in Adair and Union Counties, Iowa. Pearl, thanks for all of your help to this list.
