I am looking for a Joseph GILLESPIE b. aabt 1816 in Oh. He married a Nancy (2nd?) and a Elizabeth (1?). Came to Mo. in time for the 1860 Census. I beleive his parents are Moses GILLESPIE and Susanna. I may have a brother to your Joseph. I have a James Gillespie born 1813 in Ohio. He married Electa Richmond Poor. He died in Missouri (I am assuming Harrison County). One of his sons was James F. Gillespie who married Mary Polley. James and Mary had Amos. Amos was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery near Ridgeway, Harrison County, Missouri. My notes say that James (b. 1813) Gillespie's father MAY have been born in Ireland, but I am not sure.
