Thanks Barbra, I'm still searching for the parents of William Riley Spears of Harrison Co. I'm hoping his death certificate may shed some light. There are some NEFF's who intermarried with my HARRIS & FULLER ancestors in Harrison Co., MO. I have: Roy NEFF b. abt. 1870 and d. abt. 1935. He m. Willie HARRIS b. May 30, 1875 and d. Jan. 2, 1947. They had a son: Ray NEFF b. June 24, 1895. Does anyone have anything further on this family? I would like to know Roy NEFF's actual birthdate and place, actual death date and place. When did Roy and Willie marry and where? Where was Ray NEFF born? Also in Harrison Co., MO there was an Ira M. FULLER who married a NEFF. I had the date of this marriage but can't find it. I am certain that Ira M. FULLER is related to my FULLER's somehow but don't know exactly how yet. Does anyone know the date of this marriage and who these people were? Who were their parents, etc.? Jeff-- Forgot to say--the last time I ordered one, it cost $4.00. That has been some time ago, though, so I'm sure it is higher now. Barbra
Jeff-- The info I have says death records from 1883 to 1891 may be obtained from the County Clerk. That would be at the H.C. Courthouse, Bethany, MO 64424. However, the courthouse burned in 1874, so what is available is very limited. Death records after 1910 are at the State Bureau of Vital Statistics, Jefferson City, MO, 65101. Sorry, I can't find the street address. Good luck. Barbra
I just recieved a response to an earlier posting and its infected with a virus. I'm currently running updated virus protection which stopped it. Before posting anything else please ensure your virus scan is current and don't open any attachments labeled ME_Nude.MP3.zlq or anything with that extension. This same virus caused havoc on another newsgroup. Ms.Kelly Andersen [Gravity@aol.com] you have the virus and recommend you update your virus scanner. Be advised that you may not even be aware you sent it. If you have any questions regarding the virus please contact me. Jeff Via
Can someone provide me the address and cost to obtain a death record in Harrison Co? Or a good local resource to obtain this type of information? Thanks! Jeff
Hi Vicky, I couldn't help but notice that you mentioned a Richard or Simon Peter Smith. Would your Richard have been born Aug 12, 1854 to Simon Peter Smith? If so , please contact me. Thanks!
