Stacy, I am related to the Shains. Maybe we can compare notes. I have seen the Clevenger name is several cemeteries, at least one is Harrison Co and in the English Grove Cemetery in Atchison Co. MO. My great aunt ,who lived in Kingston, was married to Claude Clevenger. Lisa Davis lisadavis7@juno.com On Fri, 11 Jan 2002 15:03:37 -0600 "Stacy Smith" <slsmith@grm.net> writes: > Hi. The cemetery used to be called "Hobbs Chapel" because there was a church there. On Fri, 11 Jan 2002 15:03:37 -0600 "Stacy Smith" <slsmith@grm.net> writes: > Hi. Stacy would you have a Prior/Pryor Anderson Smith mar. Rachel unk. in any of your Smith info. His father reported to be Archelus Smith. Listed in 1850 census but I don't think it was Harrison Co. If I remember correct it was in an adjoining county. Don't have my notes in front of me. If you have any info on this family would like to exchange info with you. jean ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stacy Smith" <slsmith@grm.net> To: <MOHARRIS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:58 PM Subject: Re: [MOHARRIS-L] Hobbs family in Grundy Co and Harrison Co, MO > Hi. Dear Readers, The problem sounds like its rooted in your registry and could be the result of several things. A couple simple things I can recommend before spending $40+ per hour to have a professional look at it is invest in a dependable virus scan program. I've used McAfee for several years and have had excellent protection. The program can be downloaded at http://www.mcafee-at-home.com/ It also permits you to obtain weekly updates which in some cases are automatic if you set the program up correctly. The last I checked it was about $49.00 and I upgrade the program to a newer version about every 3-4 years. The other item I recommend is a CD called Norton Utilities 2000 by Symantec. After placing it in your cd drive it runs automatically and scans your system for errors (non-virus related)and repairs them. You would be suprised how many problems your system has that your not aware. I have used several versions of this product and it has fixed many of my problems over the years. The final item, if your operating through a cable modem is to install a firewall. Zone Alarm Pro has been recommended to me and I've used it with great success. Alone it has stopped many programs carrying viruses. I know all these items cost money but in the long run it becomes an inexpensive preventative medicine for your computer.
