His second wife was Lucinda Daniels. They were the parents of ten children. David and Lucinda are buried in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The youngest son of David and Lucinda is Robert Wickliff (Wick) who was born May 21, 1867 in Daviess County. This is from the book Looking back to Yesterday 1879-1979 This information was submitted by Myrtle Burton. I believe she is the daughter or Wick. Myrna Bliss Burleigh

    1. Re: [MOHARRIS-L] Re: MOHARRIS-D Digest V02 #14
    2. Judy-- If you are receiving "unsafe attachments", they are not coming from the MoHarris List, as Rootsweb does not allow attachments. If someone who is subscribed to the List has a virus, their computer may be sending the virus to anyone whose address it gleans from the MoHarris (or any other) List. So the attachment is not coming from the list, but from an individual computer. Best to be safe and not open any attachments unless you know the person who sent it and only then if you check with them first. Outlook Express seems to be very vulnerable to virus. That is why I don't use it. Do you have a good anti-virus program? AVG is a good one, just go to http://avg Also, the following will scan your computer and notify you if you have viruses. Both are free. http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_pcc.asp Good luck. MoHarris List Administrator

    1. [MOHARRIS-L] Clark Obituaries
    2. Robert W. Taylor
    3. I just sent some obituaries to the list - hope they are welcome additions. My great-grandmother, Glenna Glee Clark Cooper, was one of 14 (!) children, most of were born and/or grew up around Bethany/Matkins. I would like to collect obituaries for all 13 siblings, but I don't have precise death dates for all of them. For the ones where I have the year, it's because I found them in the cemetery books. Is there by chance an index to Bethany newspaper death notices available? I also research in Lincoln County, Missouri, and a gentleman has put together excellent indexes for the Troy newspaper - would love to find something similar for Bethany or Harrison County. Children of Benjamin Perkins Clark (b. 3 May 1844, m. 5 Mar 1868, d. 12 May 1919) and Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" Arnold (b. 3 Nov 1852, d. 18 Apr 1904): William Madison Clark (b. 15 Jun 1869, d. 1935, married Minnie Schofield) Callie Clark (b. 16 Sep 1871, d. 1937, married Charles M. Vance) Sarah E. Clark (b. 20 Feb 1874, d. Mar 1960, married Claude W. Cole) Walter W. Clark (b. 24 Aug 1876, d. 1946, married Lillie D. Whitely) Cordia Clark (b. 2 Sep 1878, d. 8 Jan 1955, married Jacob Youngman) Lillie Dale Clark (b. 25 Nov 1880, d. 1972, married Edward E. Youngman) Aubrey C. 3. My family from Harrison County is the above names. My Grandfather owned a 220 acre farm up by Andover, his name was Cecil Charles Driskill (wife Lura O. Kaestner) and I would like to find a legal description and copies of his land ownership paperwork. He passed away in August 1984. Frank B. Kaestner is my great-grandfather and his wife, Clara Marie Zirkelbach Kaestner, lived closer to the state line of Iowa/Missouri. All were farmers. Cecil's mother was Blanche Reed and she was married to Walter Elmore Driskill. So, I am obviously interested in any information about their farms or other community involvement. 1. [MOHARRIS-L] Aubrey Clark Obituary
    2. Robert W. Taylor
    3. Aubrey Clark was my great-grandmother's brother: Obituary from the Bethany Republican-Clipper 11 December 1929, p. 2, col. 3: Aubrey Cleveland Clark, the son of B.P. and Mary E. Clark, was born in Harrison county, Missouri, February 24, 1883, and departed this life at his home near Matkins, Wednesday morning, December 4, 1929, aged 46 years, nine months and 10 days. Mr. Clark has lived most of his life in and near this community. He was one of a family of 14 children, five of whom have preceded him to the great beyond. He was a big-hearted man - was fair and honest in business and expected like treatment at the hands of all men. He believed in God as Father and Maker of us all; five years ago he made a profession of religion and united with the Methodist church at Matkins. April 16, 1929, he was united in marriage to Mrs. Cora Cooter, who survives him. His death came as a great shock to his family and friends, and he will be sadly missed by them all. He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, four children by a former marriage, namely Bonnie, Lois, Claudia, and Clarence Clark, and two step-children, Howard and Vernon Cooter, four brothers and five sisters, William Clark and Walter Clark of Bethany, Missouri, Jesse Clark of Protection, Kasnas, and Benjamin Clark of Hamilton, Missouri, Mrs. Elizabeth Cole and Mrs. Glenna Cooper of Bethany, Missouri, Mrs. Lillie Francisco, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mrs. Callie Vance and Mrs. Corda Youngman of near Matkins, Missouri, and other relatives and host of friends. Just a thought of sweet remembrance, Just a memory fond and true, Just a token of affection And a heartache still for you Just a sigh for the olden moments, Just a smile of love anew, Just a tear in silence falling And a yearning just for you. The funeral services were conducted at the Matkins church, Thursday, December 5, 1929, at 2:30 o'clock p.m., by the Rev. H.G. Blomfield of Bethany, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. After the funeral service the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the cemetery near by. Pallbearers were W.C. Cole, C.M. Vance, Wm. Clark, W.W. Clark, J.O. Youngman and Benjamin Clark. Rob. Rob. Taylor Columbia, MO
