I went to familysearch.org, the Mormon sheet, and found that Ed Elkins, age 22, and Wesley Elkins, age 25, were enumerated in Franklin township in 1880, the same as Emily and Henry. The parent birthplaces were all the same and Emily would have only been 33 that year. There was probably a connection. Virginia seems a hard place to research, but you might find something there. I didn't check the marriage records for Grundy, but don't know what they list. I am stuck on the generation of my family that came here from Virginia and the family geneaologist is too.
