I have some Coles in my line from Missouri. My great grandmother had a sister, Mary Parker, who married a James Cole. Mary was born about 1835 or so. I cannot at this moment lay my hands on the names of her offspring but there were a lot of children born to that union. Let me know if you think there may be a connection and I will dig around for more data that I may have.
