I am seeking information on my Great Grand Father Willaim D. George. According to 1880 TX census, he was born in MO, March 1849. He may show on 1850 census as 1 year old. William was in TX by 1870, working as a cattle hand on the Moss ranch in Llano Co., by 1879 he was living in Gillespie Co., and on Sept.18,1879 he wed Henrietta (Ettie) Solomon b 1861 GA. William became a widow in about 1890 and about 1900 he moved to Willow City and owned/operated a general store until it was destroyed by fire around 1910.
