I thought the Fed. Gov. made a law to keep the cemeteries cleaned up. I mean that they appropriated money? This was a lot of years ago. I know they came in and cleaned all the old cemeteries up in IL and it was the Feds paying for it. Kept them clean and mowed too. These were old, old cemeteries that some could not even be read.Does anyone know if there was money set aside for this?? There are no people left in the community that have family at these old cemeteries and the people living near or in the communities do not feel a responsibility to take care of the old cemeteries.
