He married Margaret Roseanna Meeker on 18 Nov 1883. The next record I can find of Rufus E Scott is in a homestead claim in Harrison Co., Arkansas on 25 Feb 1899. They then moved to Oklahoma. He died abt 1912 but I have no documentation for that. They had 8 Children.
