I haven't yet connected him to my Ralston line but feel that he is somehow related. You say you have pension papers on this John Ralston. Are his parents' names listed? If your John Ralston is the one listed on the 1870 Grundy Co., MO census, then he was married to a Rebecca listed with seven children, the youngest one year old. You say John Ralston married your Eliza Jane on 28 Dec 1879. John and Eliza Jane are listed on the 1880 Grundy Co, MO census, along with Eliza Jane's children. I haven't yet found Rebecca Ralston and children on the 1880 Grundy Co, MO census. I think John/Rebecca were living in Henry County, Indiana in 1850 and that Rebecca was perhaps Rebecca Flowers. Conjecture. Just trying to figure out where this John Ralston fits in. Any more help from you greatly appreciated. cakemp@yahoo.com
