Hello out there in Randolph Co Ind. I am looking for any one who has surnames above in their ancestry who lived there in 1800's and may still have descendts there by the name or any other name. 1.. Mary Jane ( or Ann) Smithson who mar a Thornburg in abt 1825/35 there. 2... Drumond or other first name Smithson's there in early 1800's from Clinton Co Ohio. 3... Isaac, or Smith( may been Smithson) and Allen, Rooks, all brothers and son's of Wm. (Billie) Rooks and Mahala Smithson who mar there in 1837 then later went to Grundy Co. Mo. Mahala died abt 1855 to 1859 there and these sons left . Isaac before 1860 and Smith, and Allen after 1860 where to ???? Mahala was a sister to Mary Jane Smithson above. and related to the Drumond and another, ( name escapes me just now) Smithson. 4.... Joseph b 1782 and Elizabeth Jackson b 1890 N C, Rooks moved to Randolph Co Ind after abt 1822? with most of their 15 ch except for those several who were born after in Delaware Co or Randolph Co Ind. Joe got a large land grant in Grundy Co Mo and left about 1837??. Any descendants of any of their Children or relatives of Mahala Smithson whose parents also lived there a while, William and Millie Mildred Murrell Smithson who left and went back to Clinton Co Oh. 5....
