His Father was Horaito who had a brother James? They spelled their name Nicholas but Silas did not have the A in his name when he married Mary Hamm in Grundy Co. Mo. in 1867.They moved to Cedar Co. Mo. Horaito was married 2 times. My GGgrandmother was Mary Royce his 1st wife. They had 10 children, my Ggrandfather was their first born.My grandfather Samuel was born in 1867 in St Clair Co. Mo. It seems as though Silas and Mary have dissapeared. I know Mary died in 1871 and family stories say she was Osage Indian. I have found several cousins from the second family but no one from the first family. I heard that a son Horaito w. had moved his family to Iowa. Just hopung to find someone from the first family.to compare notes and find another cousin. Can"t have too many cousins. Oh yes the family came from Ohio If any of these name sound familar please let me hear from you. Berta Lee
